Scottie played golf in the college team and he helped them win three Big 12 Championships. He previously won the 2013 U.S Junior Amateur and the 2011 Legends Junior Match Play Championship. Scottie was also was named the 2015 Phil Mickelson Freshman of the Year award in 2015.
