WHEN Charles Matthews pulled out his phone to film his boss dancing during filming for a car sales ad, he didn't expect him to actually be cool.

The Alabama dealership worker wanted to record his boss, Hyundai car manager Joseph Barzelay, embarrassing himself on the dance floor.

Instead he made him an internet star.

Staff at the Eastern Shore Hyundai dealership in Daphne had hired dancers for a television ad when Mr Barzelay wanted to show them "how it was done in his day".

"At that point, I pulled out my phone, because I was expecting something bad," Mr Matthews told AL.com.

"We had no idea he was going to break out and do what he did that day."

When Mr Barzelay began his impressive routine, his colleague knew he was onto a winner and uploaded his video to YouTube.

The clip, which has been viewed more than 140,000 times, has been such a massive hit for the company it now plans to use it in its advertisement.
